The Rural Energy of America Grant (REAP) Eligibility:

If a 47% cost savings on a solar energy system sounds good, then the question becomes, are you eligible for this 25% incentive through the REAP Grant?

There are two groups who can apply for REAP benefits: agricultural producers who earn at least half of their gross annual income from farming operations, and rural small businesses in eligible locations. Other qualifications are:

  • Be financially solvent

  • Not be delinquent or have outstanding federal taxes

  • Be the owner of the business

  • Have no judgment, or debarment in order to be considered.
